Would you radically improve public transportation, create affordable housing, or make thousands of public toilets? Or perhaps you yearn for open space, and bringing nature back into the city is your heart’s desire. Whatever your aspirations may be, we would love to hear from you.

All proposals will be displayed in the Citizen Gallery of the Unbuilt Mumbai exhibition, and selected imaginations will be transformed into illustrations in collaboration with artists and architects from across India.

PANORAMA WORKSHOP

Do you like creating art, exploring Mumbai’s history and collaborating with others?

If so, then the Unbuilt Mumbai Panorama Workshop is for you. From October - December 2026 the Unbuilt Mumbai team, in collaboration with the Godrej Design Lab, will host a series of public art workshops in Vikhroli to co-create the Panorama, the first ever large-scale hand-painted map of the city’s unbuilt past.
