Beginning in 1670, Bombay Imagined explores two hundred unrealised proposals - visions of an evolved metropolis boasting everything from humane housing and expanded parks to sanitation systems and more. Projects that didn't see the light of the day are richly illustrated with archival drawings and contemporary speculations, illuminating long-lost futures from the city's never-before-seen past.

Bombay Imagined is Robert Stephens' first book and is set to release in early 2022.
