Own a historical map print of Greater Hyderabad from 1944, showcasing Mohammed Fayazuddin’s visionary yet unrealized masterplan for the City of Pearls. This archival-quality reproduction, printed on high-grade paper, is sourced from an original in the Urbs Indis Library.

The most colorful vision for the City of Pearls ever made. Town-planner Mohammed Fayazuddin’s proposed, yet unrealized, Masterplan for Greater Hyderabad. An insulating green-belt was to encase the city, while organically-shaped gardens were to wind their way throughout the rapidly urbanizing metropolis. This map was discovered during Robert’s research for the exhibition Hyderabad Biophilia.

Originally signed by Fayazuddin, this limited-edition print is ideal for collectors, urbanists, or anyone passionate about Hyderabad’s architectural and planning history.
